John K. Snyder III Classics Illustrated #8 "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" Partial Story Original Art (First, 1990). For the First Comics reboot of Classics Illustrated, artist John K. Snyder (Green Lantern, Suicide Squad) turned in a wild, painted version of Robert Louis Stevenson's time-honored tale, Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Hyde. Here is the title page, along with story pages 1-30, 35-41, and 44. Each page is painted using mixed media on illustration board, with an average image area measuring 14" x 19".
