Description

John Byrne - Fantastic Four, page 21 Original Art (unpublished, drawn circa 1974). In the days when Rich Buckler was drawing theFantastic Four in his best effort at the Jack Kirby style, John Byrne thought, "Well, if that's what they want, I can give it to them." To audition for that gig, John drew a tightly penciled, thirty page Giant-Size Fantastic Four try-out yarn. This spectacularly penciled page tracks a space sphere's jaunt through the cosmos; the skies are filled with Kirby-inspired "power globules". A portrait of Medusa graces panel five. The image size is approximately 10" x 15", and is in Excellent condition. Here's a chance to own a penciled FF page by one of comicdom's most titanic talents -- John Byrne.
