    Description

John Byrne and Terry Austin X-Men #119 Page 22 Original Art (Marvel, 1979). The Banshee lost his powers right here, in a scene most every X-Men fan will remember. The madman Moses Magnum is out to destroy the nation of Japan until the Banshee thwarts him, destroying a small island in the process. This spectacular page, part of which was reprinted in The X-Men Companion, showcases Byrne's talent for characterization with portraits of the whole team. Note the supreme effort shown on the faces of both hero and villain here! Erstwhile X-Man Sunfire guest-stars as well. Image area of 10" x 15". Aside from overall paper aging, and clipped corners (outside the image area), the art is in Very Good condition.
