Description

John Byrne and Terry Austin The X-Men #134 Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Storm Page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1980). One of the very best X-Men sequences was their showdown with the Hellfire Club, who at first had the mutants on the ropes to say the least. But Wolverine led a rousing comeback, and here you see Sebastian Shaw in defeat as well as Harry Leland. The latter's look was inspired by Orson Welles' The Third Man character Harry Lime, and you see the resemblance to Welles here! Austin's inking, superb on the printed page, is even more striking when you hold the art in your hands. This awesome page has an image area of 10" x 15", and the art is in Excellent condition. The page was signed by Byrne in its second panel.
