Description

John Buscema and Fred Kida Captain Britain #25 Page 1 Original Art (Marvel UK, 1977). The title page for an original story for the UK market starring their own hero, Captain Britain, it nonetheless guest-starred both Captain America and Nick Fury (Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.) to thoroughly weld it into the mainstream Marvel Universe. The UK Captain (Brian Braddock) would eventually go on to become a founding member of X-Men spin-off title, Excalibur. This page is produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight tanning, with some handling and edge wear. Overall in Excellent condition.
