DescriptionJoe Simon Brother Power the Geek #1 Partial Story "A Thing is Born" Original Art (DC, 1968). Joe Simon created the offbeat rag-doll-like character Brother Power during the height of the hippie era. With a mere two issues before cancellation, it's fair to say that the character never quite caught on with readers of the day, but the imagery is often quite striking. Offered here are the first five pages of this six-page origin story. Some sources suggest that this story may have been ghosted by Al Bare, but we have no confirmation. The image areas measure 12" x 18" and the art is in Very Good condition. From the Joe Simon Estate.
