Joe Kubert Brave and the Bold #34 Story Page 21 Hawkman and Hawkgirl Original Art (DC, 1961). DC's Silver Age was still brand new and and JLA had just appeared in this title a few issues prior... so what was next? The re-introduction of JSA regulars... 'the Hawks! From their first Silver Age appearance, Hawkman and Hawkgirl show us some great shots of their ancient weapons collection. The page also features their Thanagarian Spaceship, and the last panel ties in to the cover scene! When you cap it with that fantastic Joe Kubert art, you get a page that is hard to beat. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board at twice-up scale with an image area of 13" x 19" (counting the stat paste-up header). The page is signed by Kubert in the lower margin. There are stains in three panels and along the bottom margin. Overall in Very Good condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
