DescriptionJim Starlin and Dave Cockrum Captain Marvel #26 Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1973). Jim Starlin is one of the foremost comic creators on epic space-opera themes. So it was only natural that his run on Captain Marvel kept getting bigger and bolder, eventually involving Thanos, and setting up the entire Infinity Gauntlet storyline for a future date. This issue, only his second on the title, features a more down-to-earth donnybrook with the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing. Jim Starlin signed this page in the lower margin. Produced in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is slightly tanned with production tape in the margins, otherwise in Excellent condition. Be sure to look for the very next page of this story which is the very next lot!
