Description

Jim Aparo The Phantom #36 Story Pages 3-4 Original Art Group of 2 (Charlton Comics, 1970). A heroic tribal youth, finding the Phantom felled by an attack, seeks to revive the hero -- and maybe even impersonate the Phantom while awaiting a full recovery. Splendid work from Aparo, right around the time of his turning-point from prominence at Charlton to all-'round star-player status at DC Comics. A classic Aparo-style tilt-panel appears at Page 3, Panel 4. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 9" x 13.5". Excellent condition.
