Description
Jamie Hewlett Dateline Magazine #40 Story Page 7 Tank Girl Original Art (Deadline Publications, 1992). A deadly golf cart chase scene ends with a tomahawk to the face... that's just how things happen in a Tank Girl story. The female juggernaut of chaotic destruction was co-created by Jamie Hewlett, who also co-created the music group The Gorillaz. This page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 13.75". It is colored with vivid opaque watercolor. There is a funny little marginal caricature of Simon Groome and a dog named Goldie in the bottom margin. This seems to be a reference to Simon Groom, host of British TV show Blue Peter and his dog who also appeared on the show with him. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
