DescriptionJack Kirby, Mike Royer, and Bill Wray What If? #11 Story Page 10 Stan Lee Appearance, Fantastic Four Original Art (Marvel, 1978). "What If the Fantastic Four were the original Marvel Bullpen?" Coaxed into doing a Fantastic Four-related story at the end of his second tenure with Marvel Comics, it was the last time Kirby drew any versions of these characters in a Marvel title. This is one of the most unusual What If? issues (and that's saying a lot for this title)... it features Stan "The Man" Lee as Mr. Fantastic, Jack "The King" Kirby as the Thing, "Jolly Solly" Sol Brodsky as the Human Torch, and "Fabulous" Flo Steinberg as the Invisible Girl. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The inking credits include Mike Royer and Bill Wray; however, many secondary figures in the story were inked by Scott Shaw! and/or Dave Stevens (according to Shaw!'s "Oddball Comics" column dated 11-17-2000). There are some whiteout text corrections and one stripped-in text correction. Overall the page is in Excellent condition. Includes a copy of the published issue.
