Jack Kirby, John Romita Sr., and Frank Giacoia (as Frank Ray)Tales of Suspense #77 Story Page 8 Captain America Original Art (Marvel, 1966). The Sentinel of Liberty... battling Nazis in war-torn Europe during World War II. In this flashback sequence, the woman he is looking for is none other than Peggy Carter, in what was her first appearance. Peggy recently had her own short-lived TV series. Stan Lee penned the story "If a Hostage Should Die!" Captain America's co-creator, Jack Kirby, provided the layouts and breakdowns for John Romita, Sr. to produced the finished pencils, which Frank Giacoia then inked. A real team-effort. The twice-up scale page was crafted on Bristol board with an image area of 12.75" x 18.75". The board is lightly toned, and a bit sunstruck from a previous framing. There is a light crease on the left side near the top; however, it is not visible. Signed by Romita in the lower margin. In overall Very Good condition.
