Description

Jack Kirby Boys' Ranch #1 "The Man Who Hated Boys" Page 13 Original Art (Harvey, 1950). Clay Duncan encounters Wabash for the first time, as Indian savages have the boys pinned down. It's a rip-roaring Western action page from the Boys' Ranch origin story, "The Man Who Hated Boys." The art is in ink and graphite on illustration board, with an image area of 13" x 18". Some mild soiling along the outer borders; otherwise in Excellent condition. Note the "West. Tales #31" inscription at the bottom of the page; this story had been scheduled for reprinting in a 1955 issue of Western Tales, but was replaced by another story at the last minute. From the Joe Simon Estate.
