DescriptionJack Kirby and Mike Royer Kamandi, The Last Boy on Earth #40 Sun Machine Page 16 Original Art (DC, 1976). Kamandi captures the fabled Sun Machine -- and the mystical device bears more than a passing resemblance to Beat legend Brion Gysin's legendary "Dream Machine" -- could this be a tribute from one art visionary to another? In any case, it's way cool! This "King" Kirby classic from the Bronze Age has an image area of 10" x 15" and aside from some taped-in (on the back of the page) lettering corrections, glue residue staining in the margins and some overall paper aging, the art is in Very Good condition. Signed in the last panel by Kirby.
