Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott Fantastic Four #58 Story Page 20 Doctor Doom Original Art (Marvel, 1967). The story and plotting team of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were at full stride by this point in the series, as was the art team of Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott! Having just in the previous few months introduced the Inhumans, Black Panther, Silver Surfer, and Galactus, Stan and Jack decided it was time for the FF's arch-nemesis to reappear in the story "The Dismal Dregs of Defeat!" He's usually enough trouble for the Fab Foursome, but in this story he has stolen the Power Cosmic from the Silver Surfer and rides off into the sunset on his stolen cosmic surf board. The Fantastic Four are defeated. Mind-blowing action in the mighty Marvel manner! A major page created at twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 19.5". There is some art correction whiteout in Panels 4-6, and Panel 6 has a stat paste-up of Doctor Doom in the distance. The page is lightly toned, with 2" rip in the top edge into the image area, and a staple in the top left margin. There is glue/stain residue in Panels 5 and 6. In Good condition.
