DescriptionJack Kirby and Joe Sinnott Fantastic Four #44 Story Page 6 Medusa Original Art (Marvel, 1965). The Fantastic Four was more than just Marvel's flagship title, it was also where much of the Marvel Universe was introduced and the foundation for that universe was built. It was a peak-period with incredible collaboration between Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. This issue began to untangle the mystery of Queen Medusa of the Inhumans. The Kree equivalent to Mutants have played a big part in TV's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and even had one season of their own show, which featured Medusa. This page features the entire FF team and "Madam Medusa" (who was then a member of the Frightful Four). The twice-up scale page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". There is a crease across the top most margin. In Excellent condition.
