DescriptionJack Kirby and Joe Simon Stuntman #2 Story Page 8 Original Art (Harvey, 1946). A fine page by the character's creators, Stuntman is setting up the bad guy in the story "Curtain Call for Death". It's not hard to see similarity between Stuntman's costume and that of Sandman or any of the other S&K created heroes of the 1940s. Since this was not a DC character, his exploits are not as well known to fans, but devotees of Kirby's work should check it out. Crafted twice-up scale in ink over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 13" x 19". Signed by Joe Simon on the top margin. In Excellent condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
