    Description

Jack Kirby and Joe Simon - Stuntman #1, page 23 Original Art (Harvey, 1946). Joe Simon wrote in his memoir, The Comic Book Makers, "Though it failed to catch on as a regular Harvey title, Stuntman is considered to be a high-point in the Simon and Kirby body of work." Stuntman was a former circus acrobat who committed spectacular heroics for his look-alike leading man, a handsome, but cowardly heel. This terrific panel page shows the Simon & Kirby team in their prime, as they inject a touch of humor into the action-adventure. The page has an image area that measured 13" x 18.5". Two stats have slipped off the house ad at the bottom of the page; otherwise the art is in Very Good condition. Here's your chance to win a fabulous Simon & Kirby original!
