Jack Kirby and Joe Simon Boys' Ranch #6 Page 2 Original Art (Harvey, 1951). Clay Duncan receives a message from Federal Marshall Kirby Armstrong, along with a badge, in this mysterious page. We say mysterious because, while the page is numbered "1" in the bottom corner, the markings at the top of the page seem to indicate this should have been featured further within the book (which contains mostly one-pagers). It did appear as the second page of the story, however. As this page had been held for years in Joe Simon's personal collection, we attributed the inking chores to him, but there's a definite possibility Mort Meskin or another S&K staffer was involved. At any rate, it's a handsome page in the Kirby tradition, drawn in ink over graphite on illustration board, with an image area of 12" x 18". Very Good condition.
