Jack Kirby and Don Heck Tales to Astonish #44 Page 11 Original Art (Marvel, 1963). This story had the first appearance of the Wasp, and this is the key page when Janet Van Dyne makes the fateful decision to become the superheroine. With a movie entitled "Ant-Man and the Wasp" coming to theaters in July 2018, it's safe to say the character is about to attain household name status. In addition to the significance of the page, the storytelling is quite wonderful as well. Note the poses in the final panel! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.75".
