    Description

Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers Two-Gun Kid #58 Title Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1961). Here is the original Two-Gun Kid's origin story, and thus, a highly sought after twice-up Silver Age Marvel origin splash! The Kid has faced a lot of ornery characters in his career as an Old West crimebuster, but having your hat shot off just for riding into town sets a new low, even for Old West-styled hospitality. And so, the stage is set for the first Two-Gun Kid, Clay Harder and his horse, Cyclone, to inspire "The Legend of the Two-Gun Kid," thanks to the fertile minds of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Kirby handles the penciling and Dick Ayers the inks on this magnificent example of early Marvel art at its best. This page has an image area of 12.5" x 18.5", and it's in Excellent condition, with no white-out, and no apparent aging. There's not much here to indicate that this work is over fifty years old!
