    Description

Irv Novick Shield-Wizard Comics #7 Page 4 Original Art (MLJ, 1942). We've never before offered a Novick page from the Golden Age. Nor could you ask for a better one, as the Shield battles the Hun! And sidekick Dusty takes on another swastika-wearer. We're fairly confident this is from #7, and it features the "blue shorts" version of the Shield's costume that debuted in that issue. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13.25" x 18". Three corners broken off. Smudging and handling wear. There's a one-inch tear at lower right, barely reaching the image area. Good condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
