    Description

Irv Novick and Dick Giordano Batman #217 Story Page 4 Original Art (DC, 1969). The Bat-times... they are a Bat-changing! It was the end of the 1960s and DC was on the verge are leaving the Silver Age for the bright (and more "relevant") Bronze Age. On this page, Dick Grayson has just left for college, so Bruce Wayne decides to close up the Batcave and Wayne Manor so he and Alfred can move to Gotham City. This critical page in the Batman mythos even gives us a glimpse of the Batmobile in the background. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is some whiteout text correction on this toned page. In Excellent condition.
