DescriptionIger Studio Cowgirl Romances #4 Story Page 2 Original Art (Fiction House, 1951). This brightly composed page depicts a turning point in a range war between greedy ranchers and a native tribe. The assembly-line artwork (a standard practice with Jerry Iger's studio) bears the distinguishing touch of art director Robert Hayward Webb, notably in the faces at upper left and lower left. Ink over graphite on Iger-brand Bristol board. Image area, 12.5" x 18.25". Moderate toning and marginal moisture-staining and wrinkling. Painted white retouching (upper left border) shows light erosion. Very good condition.
