Howard Chaykin Savage Sword of Conan #2 Page 74 Original Art (Marvel, 1974). Kull is laying down the smack on this great page by Howard "Shakin" Chaykin! The inks for this story were provided by "The Crusty Bunkers." This was a coalition of inkers formed around the Neal Adams/Dick Giordano-created Continuity Studios. They would gather many inkers to work on a project that was running late. This story "The Beast from the Abyss", is reported to have been inked by Neal Adams, Dick Giordano, Russ Heath, and Alan Weiss. The story is an adaption of the R. E. Howard/Lin Carter short story "Black Abyss" and is signed by Howard Chaykin in the bottom margin. The image area measures 10.5" x 15" on the Bristol board. It has a tear in the left margin up to the image area, creases on the right margin, and overall edge/corner wear. It is tanned with some minor soiling. Overall it is in Good condition.
