Description

Harvey Eisenberg Hey There, It's Yogi Bear #1 Pages 17 and 18 Original Art Group (Gold Key, 1964). Reunited, and it feels so good! Yogi and his little pal Boo Boo are back together again, and they go off in search of Cindy Bear in these two pages from this comic book adaptation of Yogi's feature-length animated film, with superb artwork by Harvey Eisenberg (1912 - 1965). Harvey's clean line style was perfect for Hanna-Barbera comic books and newspaper strips, and his page layouts, including small details in the panels, is first-rate. Sadly, these pages are among the last from this unsung hero of Funny Animal comics, as he passed away the following year. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 16" x 23.25" per page. Minor edge wear and toning; otherwise Excellent condition.
