Gilbert Shelton and Paul Mavrides The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers #8 Page 14 Story Original Art (Rip Off Press, 1984). Freewheelin' Franklin, who had set out for Bogota with fellow Freak Brothers Fat Freddy and Phineas, now finds himself in an ancient, Pre-Columbian South American stone temple. Inside, he discovers an immense carved stone he can read "just like a comic strip" that, amazingly, predicts antics by the Brothers, and even his own arrival at the temple! Although Franklin is the only member of the group present, both Freddy and Phineas (plus Fat Freddy's Cat) can be spotted within the carvings. This is a super, highly-detailed page of art from two of the Zap Comix crew, Gilbert Shelton and Paul Mavrides; the art is in ink with white paint highlights on Bristol board with an image area of 11.5" x 16". The lightly toned board has a few pinholes in the extreme top margin. Overall in Very Good condition.
