    Description

Gil Kane and Sid Greene Green Lantern #59 "Earth's Other Green Lantern!" Page 22 Original Art (DC, 1968). In "Earth's Other Green Lantern," Hal Jordan learns from the Guardians that he was not the only choice to replace the dying Abin Sur as Green Lantern! This next-to-last page reveals what might have happened if Guy Gardner had been chosen instead, and ends with Hal meeting the man who almost took his place -- and would, eventually, become a Green Lantern. This historic page includes Jordan's classic power ring oath, "In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night..." and is a must-have for any fan of the original Silver Age GL. The art is in ink and graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". The page borders have been trimmed, but the art remains in Excellent condition. A copy of Green Lantern #59 is included.
