    Description

Gil Kane and Joe Giella Green Lantern #7 Page 11 Original Art (DC, 1961). From early in DC's Silver Age comes this great page by Gil Kane. Green Lantern was only the second superhero to get a Silver Age makeover in Showcase. It was the dawn of a new era and still three months before Marvel would release Fantastic Four #1! This great page features a wonderful panel of Sinestro, who makes his first appearance here. And this page provides the first "meeting" between GL and the super-villain, as Sinestro threatens him (GL is off-panel) directly. Own a piece of history captured in time. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of approximately 13" x 18". Slight tanning and a very small cut-and-paste-text correction. For a page of this age, the condition is fantastic. In Excellent condition. From the Greg Reece Collection.
