DescriptionGil Kane and Joe Giella Green Lantern #24 "The Shark That Hunted Human Prey!" Page 11 Original Art (DC, 1963). In this climactic page, Green Lantern must make use of the only non-yellow element around him -- air -- to escape a tight squeeze and defeat the villainous Shark, who made his first appearance in this story. This is the kind of action that turned so many 1960s youngsters into life-long comics fans, including the Heritage cataloger writing this description, who at age ten bought a copy of this issue off the newsstand -- it was twelve cents wisely spent! The art is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 13" x 18". In Very Good condition, with a few small stains in the long first panel.
