    Description

Gil Kane and Jack Abel Batman #208 Partial Story Original Art Group of 6 (DC, 1969). Batman #208 was the last true 80 Page Giant for this title from the 1960s (two other giant-size issues were of a reduced page count). Unlike other 80 Pagers that came before, this issue included a new story created as a framing device for the reprints, and it focused on "The Women in Batman's Life!" Here are the first six pages from that ten-page story, focusing on Julie Madison, Catwoman, and Linda Page. Gil Kane's dynamic artwork makes these pages extra-nice, with several great action scenes. The art is in ink over graphite with some whiteout on Bristol board, with an average per-page image area measuring 10" x 15". Overall condition is Very Good, with some minor handling wear and tanning. Each page includes Gil Kane's distinctive initials along the bottom border.
