Description

George Metzger Gothic Blimp Works #7 "Mal-Ig" Page 10 Original Art (EVO, 1969).
Here is perhaps the most famous page from George Metzger's groundbreaking science-fiction/fantasy adventure "Mal-Ig," due to the inclusion of the final panel in Mark Estren's classic book, A History of Underground Comics on page 90. The wordless nature of the strip makes each individual page enjoyable as a stand-alone effort, and with that odd "Whrrrrrrr Klic Klaklic" panel featuring a robot face with a human brain, this is one of the best. Art is in ink over blue pencil with Zipatone shading film and whiteout on a piece of 17" x 23" illustration board; image size is approximately 15" x 21". Condition is Very Good, with handling/edge wear and mild toning.
