George Metzger Beyond Time and Again (nn) Story Page 6 Original Art (Kyle & Wheary, 1976). Published just in time to be sold at the 1976 San Diego Comic Convention, this book was touted as being "America's first graphic novel". It told the tale of Seth, a magician who would go on a fantastic journey through time and magic. The page was crafted in ink and Zipatone over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 19" x 13.5". Some text is hand-lettered correction paste-up.
