George Appel Planet Comics #22 Story Page 2 Star Pirate Original Art (Fiction House, 1943). Star Pirate, and his trusty cyclopean sidekick Trody, are off on another space adventure! This page, they rescue young Roger in a spacey take-off on Les Miserables. The page twice-up scale page was crafted in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". The page is toned, with some stains on the left margin. There are blue pencil color call-out notations and some whiteout art corrections. Rips and creases in the bottom margin, and pinholes in the corners. Overall the image area is in Very Good condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.Auction Info
