Gene Colan Curse of Dracula #1 Near Complete Issue Original Art Group of 21 Pages (Dark Horse, 1988). A near complete issue! Only one page (page 16) of the 22 pages is missing. The group includes the page 1 splash and the conjoined pages 2 and 3 two-page spread. All pages are pure Gene Colan pencils with no inks at all. Rich and moody as you would expect, this version of Dracula is, however, different from the Marvel Comics work he did. Writer Marv Wolfman decided to make Dracula younger in this series to help differentiate from their previous work. Lovely scenes of the San Francisco setting, this group is an incredible find for any Colan fan. Pages are graphite on Dark Horse Bristol board with an image area of approximately 9.75" x 15". Handling wear, graphite smudges, with some corner and edge wear. Overall they are in Excellent condition.
