DescriptionGene Colan and Klaus Janson Daredevil #124 Black Widow Break-Up Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1975). Black Widow picks a bad time to break up with Daredevil, right before Copperhead shows up to make trouble, in this poignant page from the late, great Gene Colan. Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, hooked up with Matt Murdock (Daredevil) back in issue #81, and they carried on their partnership and love affair over the course of nearly four years, but always with Natasha's hulkish guardian Ivan Petrovich close by -- that's him driving her away in the final panel. This important page is in ink over graphite with Zipatone shading film and whiteout on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 10" x 15". A replacement drawing of Daredevil on vellum in the third panel is beginning to lift off, and there is tape and handling wear along the outer borders, with an overall condition of Very Good.
