    Description

Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #4 "The Dark Knight Falls" Page 2 Original Art (DC, 1986). The death of the Joker! "He who laughs last, laughs best." From the famed series that redefined Batman for a modern audience, this is a key page -- the death of The Gotham Guardian's number one nemesis. Having snapped his own neck, the Joker makes his final explosive exit -- as Batman spits on his corpse and then torches it with incendiary devices! This is the first page of this issue's story, although it's numbered "2". This hard-hitting page is produced in ink on DC Bristol board and has an image area of 11" x 17". Aside from tape residue in the borders, and slight tanning, the art is in Excellent condition.
