    Description

Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #4 Page 7 Original Art (DC, 1986). Batman wages war on the GCPD, while Robin proves her skills at reprogramming the Bat-copter, in this action-packed page from the final installment of the legendary Dark Knight Returns mini-series. Undoubtedly one of the most influential comic books of the century, TDKR, along with the Watchmen, initiated a decade of dark-and-gritty imitators, none of which captured the raw power of the original. Dark Knight pages have been commanding impressive prices in recent months, but demand still far outstrips supply, and this page boasts more Batman (and Robin) than most. One of the TV screens in the final panel is a photostat, but the rest is all original Miller/Janson art, and in Very Good condition, with only light overall wear and a minor abrasion in the top right corner which does not affect the artwork. The image area measures 12" x 18". This Dark Knight page probably won't return, so don't miss this golden opportunity to grab a piece of one of the Modern Age's true classics.
