    Description

Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Batman: The Dark Knight #3 Story Page 7 Original Art (DC, 1986). This highly celebrated four-part series helped breathe new life into the comic book medium, and its effect is still being felt today, especially in the new movie Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Issue #3 was titled "Hunt the Dark Knight", and if you hunt for the Dark Knight, you will find that the old woman slugging the neo-Nazi Bruno is actually Batman in disguise. The smashed train shown in panel five is the first evidence of the return of a certain big blue Boy Scout who is "more powerful than a locomotive", which sets up the climatic final battle in issue #4. Produced in ink over graphite, with an approximate image size of 11.75" x 17.75". Other than tanning, minor handling wear, and discoloration of the taped-on register marks (outside the image area), the page is in Very Good condition. If Batman is your guy, owning a page from this legendary series is a must-have grail item!
