    Description

Frank Frazetta Charles Starrett as the Durango Kid #7 Story Page 1 White Indian Original Art (Magazine Enterprises, 1950). Frazetta's stories of Dan Brand were so popular and well-crafted that even though this was a back-up, the stories were later reprinted in their own comic book series. This page was reprinted in White Indian #13 [A-1 #104] as Page 1. The opening page of the tale "The Battle of the Dungeons!" features a knife-in-teeth charge against a British Red Coat. The twice-up scale page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.75" x 18". Signed by Frazetta in the half-splash page panel. The logo is a stat paste-up. Matted to 18.75" x 24", it is in Excellent condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
