Frank Brunner Vampirella #10 Story Page 6 Original Art (Warren, 1971). Early work by Frank Brunner, best known for his contributions to Marvel's Doctor Strange and Man-Thing. Beautiful detailed art including ink-splatter shading and hatching that creates incredible imagery in this penultimate page from the story "Eye of Newt Toe of Frog". Brunner's original lettering can be seen after most of the paste-ups of Ben Oda's more conventional block-lettering have lost adhesion. Rendered in ink and white paint over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 19". The toned board has residue staining from missing paste-ups, a tear on the bottom right edge, a small tear on the left edge, with light handling wear. In Very Good condition.
