    Description

Frank Brunner Marvel Premiere #10 Page 6 Dr. Strange Original Art (Marvel, 1973). This mystical masterpiece is from a key issue from the Marvel Comics' Bronze Age. This issue...the Ancient One dies! The result of which is that Doctor Strange becomes the next Sorcerer Supreme, a title he held well into the next century of Marvel Comics. Frank Brunner's run on the Doctor Strange stories in this title earned him a fan-following. He would go on to work on the good Doctor's regular title, and Howard the Duck's first two solo stories in Giant-Sized Man-Thing #'s 4 and 5. The issue's credits say "inks by the singing sons of the Crusty Bunkers," which we take to mean a team effort by various Neal Adams studio hands. This page is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight tanning with some graphite smudges. Handling and edge wear, however in Very Good condition.
