Description

Frank Brunner and Steve Leialoha Howard the Duck #1 Story Page 15 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1976). Steve Gerber's signature creation, Howard the Duck, launches into his starring book with hapless ferocity -- a pivotal page from a lampoon of the Conan the Barbarian series. Brunner's depiction of an alien landscape is reminiscent of the 1950s style of EC Comics' Weird Science and Weird Fantasy publications. Ink and Zipatone shading film over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Moderate chemical toning in the shaded area. Excellent condition.
