    Etienne Davodeau Un homme est mort Planche 31 (Futuropolis, 2006). 1950, la guerre est finie depuis cinq ans, mais les bombardements massifs ont anéanti la ville portuaire de Brest qui n'est plus qu'un gigantesque chantier. Un jeune cinéaste doit réaliser un court métrage sur la grève des chantiers navals brestois pour la CGT, le puissant syndicat français. Lors d'une manifestation, un gréviste est abattu par la police. Un récit poignant et émouvant - la marque de fabrique de Davodeau - qui nous plonge au cœur des luttes sociales des années 1950. Un original (29,7 x 42 cm) combinant encre de Chine et aquarelle.     Etienne Davodeau Un homme est mort [A Man Is Dead] Story Page 31 (Futuropolis, 2006). 1950, the war has been over for five years, but the massive bombings have destroyed the port city of Brest and left it no more than a gigantic building site. A young filmmaker must make a short film about the strike by Brest's shipyards for the CGT, the powerful French trade union. During a demonstration, a striker is shot dead by the police. A poignant and moving story - the signature of Davodeau - that plunges us into the heart of the social struggles of the 1950s. In ink and watercolor, with an image area of 10.5" x 13.75". Signed in the lower right. In Excellent condition.
