Don Heck and Frank Giacoia The Avengers #29 Story Page 16 Black Widow and Goliath Original Art (Marvel, 1966). Black Widow opens this page, working with villains to capture the Avengers. You can see on this page that she was beginning to switch sides. She would work alongside the Avengers very soon. The last panel is a "monumentous" meeting, as Goliath confronts Power Man. The villainous Power Man (Erik Josten) would eventually take the name Goliath years later after Hank Pym no longer used it. The page was created twice-up scale in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". There is production tape holding on the "continued..." strip. The lightly toned page has some graphite smudging in the lower margin. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
