    Description

Don Heck and Bob Oksner Wonder Woman #205 Story Page 12 Original Art (DC, 1973). From the first post-"White Period" issue of the series, we get the return of Wonder Woman's classic style costume, and a villain that would make The Tick proud! For about four-and-a-half years, Diana Prince has given up her powers and costume to remain on Earth when the Amazons relocated to another dimension. During that time, Diana wore mod style "street clothes" instead of a costume... most of them solid white. The idea was to make her more real and "relevant" in modern society. As far as we know, this is the longest "temporary" costume change of any superhero. This issue also saw a return both the original cursive logo and the return of "goofy villains", as evidenced by Dr. Domino on this very page! Yes... he has a giant domino for a head! The page was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There are some stripped-in text corrections and some whiteout corrections as well. The toned page has some production tape residue in places and in the image area on the right. In Very Good condition.
