Description

Dick Ayers Strange Tales #98 Story Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1962). From just three issues before the Human Torch and Thing would invade this monster/horror anthology and turn it into part of Marvel's swinging 1960s super-hero revival, this tale was titled "They Vanished Forever!" It was about the fabled Flying Dutchman. Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". The "continued after following page" paste-up strip was held on with production tape, but has since slipped off, leaving tape residue behind. The bottom right marginal corner has ripped off. Overall the image area is in Excellent condition.
