Denys Cowan and Bill Sienkiewicz Green Arrow #25 Story Page 4 Original Art (DC Comics, 2014). Brilliantly emotive sequence from a turning-point story for Green Arrow, in which the costumed hero (wounded) seeks to enlist a bodyguard. Fine radial composition from Cowan, deepened by Sienkiewicz's Expressionistic ink textures. The vivid brushwork (of varied textures and depths) shows considerably more detail than can be seen in the published version. Signed by Cowan at lower right. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Excellent condition.
