Curt Swan and George Klein World's Finest #159 Page 2 Original Art (DC, 1966). Swan is the artist who most commonly comes to mind when talking about vintage Superman artwork. His look became the DC "house style" for many years. With this great page from the story "The Cape and Cowl Crooks," you get not only a Swan Superman, but Batman, and even Commissioner Gordon, plus a real rogues' gallery of super-villains as well -- Luthor, Brainiac, Prankster, and Toyman (all seen as displays within Superman's Fortress of Solitude)! This story was produced during the height of the Bat-Mania caused by the Batman TV show. This was also Edmond Hamilton's last published script for DC. Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 18". Slight tanning and corner wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition.
