Description

Curt Swan and George Klein Action Comics #304 "The Interplanetary Olympics" Page 9 Original Art (DC, 1963). Superman loses "The Interplanetary Olympics" on this page from Silver Age legend Curt Swan. Lana is heartbroken, but of course there is a reason for it. This story is actually a recycled plot from an Al Plastino-drawn story of the same name from Action Comics #220, seven years earlier, re-written to include Lana Lang instead of Lois Lane, and redrawn by Curt Swan. Great Silver Age fun produced in ink over graphite, on Bristol board, with an image area of 13" x 18". Slight tanning, otherwise in Excellent condition.
There are three more pages from this story in this same auction!
